Christine Cooper woke up one morning in November 2025 dreaming of a new adventure. But instead of taking a road trip, she picked up a pen. And instead of blasting the stereo, she quietly played murder shows in the background. Six months later, she had written the first draft of Shadow and Shield. Six weeks after that, there was a completed second book, and a third story on the way.
It turns out, the adventure was nothing new — she’d been waiting for it her entire life.
